  • The Nicholas-Joseph Cugnot Award

    The Nicholas-Joseph Cugnot Award is presented each year for the best book published in the previous calendar year. SAH Awards of Distinction are awarded for exemplary books not receiving the Cugnot Award. Beginning in 2002, separate awards were created for books in languages other than English.
